Anyone in the insurance profession????????

Hi everyone, this is my first post on the forum but i do visit PH alot. I have noticed that there are alot of successful people on this forum and alot of professionals.

Are there any insurance underwriters, brokers, adjusters employed or have their own company on here?

Ive just graduated and really interested in taking the insurance route to ACII and maybe starting my own company one day.

Anyone care to offer any advice on this career,pros cons etc? How much can be earned in this sector? Whats the work like etc

Did I hear my name mentioned? Dependant upon which career path you take the ACII is a damn good idea, but it's a hard slog. I personally didn't take it but this has more to do with being imersed in insurance from an early age due to it being the family trade.

rasc, your spot on, I started 15 years ago (even though I'm only 29), and because I'm the proprietor I don't have to prove myself outside making sure I'm better than my staff. I would however support any member of staff who didn't have the experience in doing this.

which lloyds broker are you with old bean, we may have crossed paths?
