Hi,
My girlfriend is currently employed as a hairdresser and is wanting to set up on her own.
A salon near her current employer is coming up for let and having spoken to the mgt company they are now asking for written expression of interest and a business plan, along with back up of capital etc and experience of running a business.
Does anyone have any advice/examples of a well laid out business plan and application letter? We don't really have much of an idea of where to start.
We know there is currently 2 other interested parties (one already with an established salon in another town) and don't really rate our chances of success very high so the better we can offer our initial pitch the more chance we stand.
Thanks in advance and if you need to know anything else please let me know...

go to lloydstsb.co.uk .

they so a package called route plan ( or something like that)

very easy to use and will walk you through a business plan producing quite a professional result. It should suffice and its free.

I agree with obwokydoky

Lloyds business pack was very good at guiding me through. The software was asking questions that then created your basic business plan in word.

I then tweeked it a little and took it straight to HSBC!

Cheers Guys,
I ordered the pack on line so hopefully it will be through soon. I presume the pack includes software to do this? If so do you know if its Mac compatible?
