We started using WorldPay a while back - very good, no complaints. However, we seem to be getting quite a few charge backs in the last few weeks. Is there anyway to reduce these??

what are your AVS results saying?? I only process transactions that pass everything including matching cardholder address and security code.. anything else I refuse (I'm pre-auth too so they don't process them automatically)

AVS are all "OK" but we still get "customers" saying we did not buy XYZ from you - pain in the arse!

If its phone numbers you're selling, can't you get them cut off if payment isn't forthcoming?

Yep, we just cut them off but it's a pain in the arse and I'm sure WorldPay charge us a fee as well.

Worldpay are now doing PIN though, so all your VISA transactions for example are charged back to VISA.. you're covered. Give it a few more months for the other banks to "enrol" for PIN authentication and the problem should simply go away.
