Fairly simple stuff really. Bought a new house want to do a loft conversion...

need advice.


property built in about 1930, floor to roof height in the middle of the loft about 14 ft !!!

the main problem is the span over one of the bedrooms is i think to large for the roof joists

Don't touch loft conversions with a long bargepole, mind you - there's just too much hassle involved and people are not willing to pay a viable price.
