career change - professionals

Hi all,

Have any other professionals packed in the city job for something more rural.

Regrets? Best thing ever?

Coming to the view that working for someone else is not the answer. How can I look to other options (property development etc.) when I am on company time?

The initial drop to 1/3 current salary is scary but have no dependents (only car to support).

Advice appreciated.
