Is it possible to view "Real time" share prices, most around the net lag behind the FTSE by 15 minutes +.

Yep, there are options but I know of none that are free (the 20 minute delay is what makes them "worthless" and therefore published FOC). Is paying for it a problem? (by that I mean paying for the prices, I wasn't prying in to your personal life! )

The Stock Exchange charges a fee for letting you see realtime prices. If you run a company that has a price feed from the exchange, and you forward that data feed on to your customers, the Stock Exchange will charge you for doing so. Therefore most people who distribute prices pass the fee straight on to you. IIRC, which I probably don't, it's likely to be something like £25 a month.

The use is only for me, would just like to be able to take out a little risk when buying or selling.

I believe the Capital Spreads website is a live feed. You only need to register a live account (don;t need to upload any money to it) and you then get the live feed.

Caplin may be a bit of overkill, but it is a total web based solution.
