Another one fo accountants
Discussion
Have been reading bits of my small business start up book again over Christmas.
One of the points it made was that if I pay myself £4004 (FY2003-04 figure) then I actually qualify for basic standards of goverment payouts on sick pay, pension etc.
It also said that as the director of my company if I do meet that £4004 but dont exceed the £4600ish Income Tax limit I can claim the Job Seekers Allowance.
Is this true?
Can I claim for missed months? (Company trading for 14 months)
Are there any tricks / wording / payment I need to make to qualify for this?
Anything else I need to look at?
Thanks in advance.
