Hi,

I need a reliable SMS gateway provider to allow my website to send SMS messages (using PHP) to mobile phones world wide, at least UK and USA for a start anyway.

I have been using a company called TextAnywhere but they charge 10p a message, I am sure it can be done cheaper.

If anyone can recommend a service that would be great, I know there is a similar thread on SMS, but this is specifically for a web gateway.

Feel free to email me.

Thanks, Happy New Year.

Sam

Lots out there.

mblox
mobileway
2ergo
I'm sure the PHers who posted in the other thread will also have solutions.. but 10p (+VAT?) a message is certainly steep, you should approximately halve that if you need 'premium' routing.

I deal with a lot of these companies, off the top of my head:-

Wireless Information Networks
Dialogue Communications
Esendex
Mobile Message Centre
Premtext
Netsize

Email me if you want any more.

Rich.

I know there are a lot out there, really looking for some advice from someone who has used/dealt with one – I am sure some work out cheaper/better/more reliable than others.

OK, I'm not sure which are the best / most reliable, as I only deal with them as an operator, so they are my customers rather me being their customers.

Sam,

Whilst I am a provider of SMS services (PrimetexT) and thus rather biased on who provides the best, most cost effective service (!) I have sent an email with my contact details via PM.

Regards.

Phil.

Sam,

I've worked with lots of them in the same sitation as you over the last 4 years, give the ones I recommended a call on Tuesday and see if you can sort something out.

Note I didn't recommend all the ones I know
