At the end of the last VAT quarter I claimed a small amount back. In the past it's arrived in a couple of weeks.
Now the next VAT return has arrived and I still haven't had the refund from the last one. I don't want to wake the sleeping dog, but... what should I do?
You might have to. They can sometimes (without telling you what they have done) offset an amount due to be refunded to you from amounts already owed by you. Probably not the case on this occasion but if they have your money, you are entitled to know what they have done with it.
Have you checked your bank statement? My refunds are directly credited to my account.
