what don't you like about BNI? We are in Middlesbrough.Stockton and Durham, and find it quite useful. I went to my first on friday with a view to going regularly for the company, and it seemed quite a good idea, and certainly it generates quite a bit of business - our MD managed to get a contract worth quarter of a million for one of the companies there...
Well I can also praise PH'ers for helping directly and indirectly with our new business. We are getting quite a few enquiries and have even managed to sell a few dresses and ballgowns.
Haven't had a lot of time to read PH though, as we are busy adding new lines, creating static html pages (to help with Search Engine Optimisation) and getting the fabric photographs (taken by PHer Simpo Two btw) into some sort of shape.

BNI may be good For local businesses, or More specific such as carpenters printers and suppliers of wines. these are the ones that do well in the 'chapter' i joined but I provide security bags to nightclubs and conference halls and i havent had one referal in two months??
it just does n't work for me but may be better for others
