Wondering if any other PHers out there hold M&S shares, and have opinions on what options to take with the buyback offer?

Opinions of a very minor private shareholder...

Shares seemed to have been boosted by the takeover, and not fallen back too far - but maybebecause of the buyback offer. M&S not doing too well, so maybe the shares will fall after the offer concludes - except M&S are then going to buy back another 10% of the issued shares on the open market...

On the buyback, I guess it will be dominated by institutional shareholders, who may have a chance to sell large numbers of shares without driving the price down too far, so they may be happy with some discount below market price, and take some profit on the last 6 months rise... dunno.

Anyone else?

I would have taken £4 a share from Phillip Green, but never got the chance to be asked. Even worse, I hold my few shares in a PEP and the managers aren't even giving the option to set a price, it's either sell or don't sell.

Currently I'm thinking sell, there are better places for your money.

Mine are in an ISA, but they have offered the full options. Just got to reply soon...
