How slow is business right now?

I do hope it was because of the school hols.

We haven't even recieved many requests for quotes. A bit worrying as the lead time between quotes and fitting is about 2 months.

Very IMHO. Summer for us was flatter than a flat thing. There has been a little more activity from the telephone this week now that everyone is getting their heads around being back from hols, but I suspect that confidence is fragile and will continue to be so for a while.

Last month & a half have been the busiest mosts in my company's (short) history.

Long may it continue (although other half may not agree).

Every month is like that for me.

Business is defo in the UP in IT at present, over the last 5-6 mths mostly.

August was a pap month in terms of revenue collection, but as for sales, have 2 of the largest deals ever on the cards at present, along with some nice sized upgrades.

I dont want to jinx it, but with Google IPO'ing, then rising substantially (ok, so its slipped back a tad now!) it all seems slightly... de ja vu
