To try to generate a bit of an impact we need to improve the look of our sales proposal documents.
We are getting a designer to go over them but in the meantime we woudl like to be able to print eye catching covers. Ideally these will be a frosted or maybe mirrored effect clear plastic however we will want to be able to print onto them from our colour laserjet 4500. Can anyone tell me where I'll get some such paper?

I think you mean lamination, which can be gloss or matt. There's also UV varnish. However these are applied after printing and are additional to a 'proper' (ie litho) print job. The closest you will get in DIY Staples-land is encapsulation, which as you know leaves a clear border round the edge and only works on single sheets.
