I've got a guy supposedly in Germany who has brought some bits off me, am I safe to give him my bank details, for a transfer of funds or is there another scam going around ?

i suppose it depends which details he wants. check with your bank what details you need to give out... sort code and 8 digit account number usually? if he wants your 16 digit number as on your card......

Why not open a Euro account with your existing bank, completely seperate from your UK£ account, get the cash paid into that, add a little extra on to the final price to allow for the funds to be transferred into your UK£ account, then when all is done, simply close the Euro account, or keep it purely for these type of transactions?
I've done this before, and it avoids all the aggro........
