Hi all

One of my clients has just released their figures on Nasdaq and they were much better than expected.

I want to buy some shares in them.

2 questions

1. Can I buy shares from my company's funds
2. Where can i do this if it is possible.

Yes but they must be registered in the company's name. If they are in your name this could be construed as a loan to a director from the company which is illegal

Any bank should be able to provide a share transaction service.

One final thing - are you sure that you can auditably demonstrate that your decision to invest is based on information readily available in the public domain. If you are relying on information that you came by in your relationship with the publicly quoted company, that is so-called 'insider trading' which is illegal

I've been meaning to invest for ages but kept putting it off for various reasons then yesterday they released these new figures... If only I'd have done it when I originally wanted to!

My other option is to take my dividend that I've been saving then put them in my own name.

I really need to read up quick on share trading!

This is not always the case though, right? Im currently reading a book about investing and the guy is saying inside trading is the best way. It does mention that it CAN be illegal, but I havent got to the but that explains the difference.
