Currency exchanges

Whats the best way of doing large currency exchanges? I have to pay a large amount of money to Australia. The market exchange rate is 2.60 but my bank is offering 2.56 which makes a big difference.

I do all my currency exchange transactions through XE....

They are very efficient and you can monitor the status of the transaction.

I use XE for conversions but I didn't know they actually moved money around as well?
