Right.. You have a performance car and you are taking it to a business. Now ignoring what the business does or thier reputation or any of that, can people in the south tell me which 'location' would sway them for or against taking it to this place.

Normandy (just off the A31 Hoggs back)
Camberley (just off the M3)

Many thanks!

Charlie

Well living where I do (Hayling Island) it makes little difference. Having said that I guess it depends on the time I have available, but I suspect the Hogsback would be preferable.

Charlie,
Its a tricky one.I would think Camberley is a better bet as its bigger than Normandy. However I also know theyre are a lot of offices left unlet in Camberley and appears to me to be an area in decline.

To be honest I'm not sure the location is that important. The fella I use to look after the corrado is based in an old garage behind a row of derelict terraced shops inbetween aldershot and farnborough, and I use mitcheldever for my tyres which isnt exactly handy.

In short, if you have a good business ideally with a unique selling point people will come to you no matter where you are (after all your not relying on passing trade I presume).

Therefore I'd base your descision on cost, or the quality of the premises.

Importance of location tends to be ease of access (IMO) I know both very well - my gran lives in Normandy and my parents Yateley!

I would vote for Camberley based simply on the access issue. The Hogsback is a bast**d from time to time, and also people seem to get lost around the outskirts of guildford a fair bit....Junc 3 of the M3 towards Camberely...lots of opportunity there and 5 minutes from Motorway junction. Also isn't Normandy quite pricey comaparatively, for land?

re: Cambereley in decline....really?....I would 100% avoid anything on the A30 (where theres the old Robins cinema and stuff) - as they're always shutting and opening...because of lack of access! I think Camberely generally is a growth area and would be best bet. But its only an opinion!

the unit i'm looking at is directly off the M3 at the Camberley Junction.. you go up the Dual carrigeway towards Camberley and its on the right in the big industrial estate.

What worries me about Normandy is that people who are based around the M25 are going to look at the map and go... oh its too far. Its all about Perception, whereas just off the M3 is going to appear more accesable.

Many thanks for the comments guys... Keep em coming!

You'll get no customers if you tell them all to come to "Camberely". I presume you mean "Camberley".

Might do, not a great fan of driving to pubs though, find it a bit frustrating when I can't drink. However, not got much else on at the mo so might show my face.

fairy nuff! To be honest I only drive past from time to time....but was under the impression that there s a fair bit of money going in, and with most of Aldershot getting sold off now they're removing the army, its likely to get only more expensive...

Vixpy...I would have thought that the Unit you describe was in an ideal location....
