Got the chance to buy a bobtailed Rangie with a pick-up backend (sort of like a twin crewcab pickup).

Now I want to buy this, but I'm sure the missus will kill me, esp. if when she finds out its a V8 so my question is -

If I bought it and she gives me so much grief I have to sell it again, how desireable will it be? Would anyone give me what I pay for it (£700)?

BTW, if anyone wants a bobtail doing on their Rangie, I now know two fellas that do a cracking job. Don't know how long it would take then to do it, but a bloody good job would be done.

You should be able to sell it on without too much effort - providing it looks tidy and the job has been done OK.

I've only got this picture ATM. The other chap that does it has made a slightly better job by changing the rear glass to a one piece and has also trimmed the interior to match. Don't know how much they would charge yet either.
