I thought it was going to be a crumbly old wreck!

Looks really good, well done fish.

I'm hoping to find some pics of it before he started dismantling it, but I have a feeling they are all on normal film which I haven't had developed yet.

Wow James, that looks very good!
You were indeed very quick with that restoration. Mine took me two years!

I have done a Diff on my old landcrusier.

When I say "done" I mean removed it, stripped it down and then got it rebuilt at MrDiff and replaced it myself. It wasnt a technically difficult job but took a whole day. Didnt need any special tools but then its a differnet piece of kit.

That looks very impressive indeed. Not so sure about a contrast photo with Mavis now, she might get ideas!

James here:

The saga continues, the diff has definately munched itself and will be getting a rebuild next week. The starter solenoid has died as well.

God this is an expensive Landy, but its been tuned and is apparently purring properly.

Fantastic job, amazing finish.

Out of interest were the dash and steering wheel in that condition already or did you manage to source new ones?

My Series III dash is decidiedly shabby.
