Are they already all sold off from MoD?
Have a look in Land Rover owners magazine, there are usually loads of adverts from surplus dealers.
Dunsfold Land Rovers often had a mint example when I was there.

A few lumbered on until 1999, but afaik they've all been retired now.
Start with Dunsfold, but I think your chances of finding a decent one are slim to nil
