What alternator...
Discussion
.....will fit my son's 110 diesel (A Reg)?
I borrowed it for a day, alternator packed up!
Is it a rare Landrover 1-off? The way things are going at the moment that would be about par for the course......
Would be nice to see a nice long list of ordinary cars that I can find in a scrapyard.
Anyway, over to the experts.

When i used to off road alot I used to use about 1 a month, (something to do with me filling them with muddy water?) I used to go the my local scrappy and get one with all the mounting lugs in the right place and put out about 30-45 amps.

More or less anything that will fit then?
Sounds like good news to me.
Thanks seaton.

Yup, there are right and left hand mount. i.e if you look at the pully, the three mounting lugs will be to the left or right of the pully, but apart from that ive had no probes fitting £5 jobbies.
