Range Rover advise please

Hi,I was wondering if I could get some info on Range Rovers. I'm thinking about buying one and just wanted some info on known problems etc? I want an auto (sorry I'm lazy) but want to know if there are certain models or age to stay away from re auto boxes? Also, I'm guessing theres a major head gasket issue with them....Is this a particular age or engine variant? I'm sure there will be gremlins in the electrics, how can there not be with that much loom, but are there any costly ones to look out for? Last question...are the suspension problems? If so what are they. It's gonna be a 2nd car thats gotta be able to take me off road (welsh hillside precipices) and distance in comfort. I also want an lpg converted. 4 cars and a motorbike means this will be the worker. Many thanks
