Just bought my 1st Land Rover

Hi all, I can now become an official member of this forum. I picked up my 98 V8 disco last night, really happy with it after the drive home. We are taking it into the mountains for a bit of wadi bashing this weekend, can't wait. Going in convoy with a Jeep so hope she compensates for my inexperiance.

Had a great 2 days. Went to a wadi somewhere on the way to Fujeria (spelling?). Camped in an area that was an off road playground, lots of steep slopes, gullies, rocks, etc. The Disco did everything I asked of her so very happy with my purchase at the moment.

Oh and be sure to take a Defender with you to tow the Land Cruiser out as well !
