Well, we now have a new addition to the collection - a 20 year old 110 V8, with bits of rust, a leaky radiator and an alternator that isn't alternating
Great fun, though, as I discovered in a test drive around sis' field, and the brakes are better than expected (yells from the back as i hurtled unknowingly towards an electric cable - slammed the brakes on, and four passengers catapulted over the rear seat
Insurance is through Chaucer - and they only cover six seats, though they know about the rear ones (but those have no seatbelts). Strange. NFU wouldn't quote "as you have no existing business with us" Eh?
There is an Old Soldbury sortout (thought he was being rude when he mentioned this!) on 25th Sept, so some parts hunting may ensue. Thanks to those who gave their advice in my other thread.

As Bodo said, Mrs Fish, it is one of the very early 110s - they did start in 1983 (this was registered in sept '83). The brakes have actually had recent attention which probably accounts for them doing something other than whistle the Hovis advert when you press the pedal
There are very likely common things between the Stage 1 V8 and the early 110s, as one led to the other, though, so your help and advice will be appreciated Mrs Fish!
