after two years of work and a conciderable amount of dosh it's finaly done, on the road and running like a dream.
A few bits its got:
Rebuilt Rover 3.5 V8
Recon gearbox
Recon front axel
Parabolics and pro comp Shocks
Repaired chassis
etc
etc
etc

I cant stop smiling its sooooo much fun to drive, and the noise

Nice The only thing that stopped me from fitting a V8 (I even already had a 101 engine then) were the petrol prices

Did you leave the original box in the car (LT77 IIRC), or did you go for a box that came with the V8?

The box is a standard series III, four speed with selactable 2-4 wheel drive with a conversion ring. The flywheel has been tapped and dowled to take a series III 9 1/2" clutch. It has a 101 oil filter housing to move the filter away from the axel and the engine mounts are home made to fit to the origonal chassis mounts.
