I have been offered a set of quad 48 dellortos on a manifold that will bolt straight on my v8 at a very reasonable price, do you think it will be beneficial over the standard su's. obviuosly the fuel consumption will be effected but thats ok if i get lots more power.

I have seen this set up - offered as an alternative to fitting EFi and having the car chipped.

Its called a boxer setup, and from what i can remember of it (going back about 7 years at least!) i don't think you'll be disappointed

LRO did a feature on a metallic red range rover with this set up - i have just given my LRO mags away otherwise i would have dug it out for you. Perhaps a call to LRO publishers? I'm pretty it was featured around 1996... Bearing in mind the mag has changed hands a lot since then, but they might have the article.

rogue, the carbs are £300 on the manifold and were off a racing 4x4. Im still undecided on what im going to do , so if anyone knows for sure that they want these carbs let me know.
