300tdi Im selling and want your oppinion...

Right Graham will post the pics of this engine after if typed this out.
Basically I would like to know what you guys think the engine + ancillaries(except rad) + exhaust system is worth. Im not selling with box as the box is shot. Its beleive it or not 9yrs old from an L reg Defender. covered 90k and has had one owner.... Barrons. Been serviced regularly, and Im sure the company can produce recipets. (lost logbook).
Since Ive had the use of the LR (1yr last Nov) Ive gone about makinfg sure it was running well and have spent fortunes on it having it gone through by LR main dealer at Brock. The engine has in the last 300 miles had..
New filters all round + oil
Gaskets on water pump replaced and upgraded
New gaskets on timing cover etc.
New belts
Timing kit
New Tensioners
New pulleys
And a good serviing.
(All Gen parts as you can see in pictures)
The engine has also had new injector pipes, induction parts, and faulty glow plug replaced and rewired.
The engine its self is excellent starter, good on fuel, and torquey. I do think the injectors need an overhaul but thats not too expensive.
There is also a video of the engine running, and graham has a link to that. Its approx 11mb. The slight rattle when reving down is the airfilter housing and since the film was taken (This evening) it has been tightened up as it had worked loose.

Oh and as a guide Simmonits were selling a 200tdi + box 80k for £2500
And that wasnt overhauled!
