FAO GrahamJ: rear bulkhead S2 SWB
Discussion
Since you're just under 200cm too, here's the pictures of my rear bulkhead conversion:
I did that conversion during the restoration of my Landy, but it's maybe possible to do that with the rear tub still fitted to the chassis.
The extra space is 160mm, and allows to adjust the seat further back, giving more legroom. If you have an RHD, look take care that you don't collide with the fuel filler
The parts I needed were
I guess the photos explain well, where I bended, cut and riveted the sheet

The parts I needed were
- two door latch panels from a Series
- left and right capping from a 109"
- 1200mm x 1500mm sheet alloy, 2mm thick
- 30mm x 20mm x 2mm alloy section, 1500mm long
- lots of waterproof pop rivets 4.8 x 9.5mm and 4.8 x 11mm
- patience
I guess the photos explain well, where I bended, cut and riveted the sheet
Cheers Bodo,
Did you make any modifications to the seat runners or are they in the oringinal position?
The parts shouldn't be too hard to source, not quite sure on the patience though, do Dunsfold have it?
Looks quite a handy place to stow some bits and bobs too.
Thanks once again mate
