2 inch lift???

i have a 89 4 door vogue, is it possible to raise it 2inchs with just springs or will i have to change shocks to?

You'd need to look at longer shocks as well and possibly driveshafts / propshafts as they will be operating at a different angle.

I had a 2" lift on my bobtail, was fine as standard, then ended up with +1" shocks, fine with those too.

Depends if you're into hardcore offroading - upgrade everything, or just want to fit bigger tyres in the arches - you should be OK.
