Hi all..

The window runners on the 2A have basically turned to rust.. would it be straightforward to replace them all in the existing door tops, or just get new doortops complete..?

Cheers
Matt.

When I rebuilt mine, I replaced both door tops as I didn't think the saving by overhauling them was worth the time and effort involved!

They were brand new - didn't see any sense in getting some that were probably on the way to the state of the old ones.... think we got them from DLS www.dls-uk.co.uk/

I got the 90/110 doortops, which have an alloy extrusion frame, rather than mildsteel. They were quite pricey compared to the traditional ones, but there's a chance to get 2nd hand ones for £100...150 per pair.
