Freelander Vibration
Discussion
Hi Chaps,
vehicle has suddenly developed some fairly severe vibration which starts at approx 45-50mph under acceleration and constant running. You can hear the noise and also feel the vibration through the steering wheel which increases frequency with speed.
It will be going to the garage to be looked at tomorrow but I wondered if anyone could shed any light on the cause ?
Cheers, Mark.

Could it be the prop mounts or bearings maybe ?
Its only manifested itself since I had the rear exhaust and centre pipe replaced yesterday, but maybe I couldnt hear it above the blowing back box ?

So answering your own question the new exhaust has probably shifted and is now touching and vibrating through the chassis.
