I've just got my new bits for the Landy and took some photos today.

I've posted the full ones in the photography forum - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=327960&f=109&h=0

What lights are those on the roof bar? Looks like just what i'm after for the range rover.

Thanks, chaps.

As for the lights...I'm not sure, they were on there when I bought the car. I'll have a look tomorrow and see if there are any brand names on there

Damn, so you won't be able to tell me how you wired them in either then.

Unfortunately not. I do know that they come down in through the roof with a clever little plug which can be quickly unplugged and then sealed with a plug. Wires run down and there's a bank of switches between the cig lighter and rear window wiper control. They come on solely by the switches.

I think the difficult bit will be getting the wires up to the roof without disturbing the window seals. Already got two Rallye 3000s for the front, probably go for 4 or 6 small hella comets on the roof like you've got yours.

I'd go up through the roof and seal it well. I'll try and get you some pictures of my set up tomorrow

As promised...

Sorry about the dodgy quality. That's the plug type thing I have on the roof. It screws in simply and makes the connection. There's a little cap in the cubby box to seal it when the lights aren't fitted.

And those are the switches. The "FRNT" is for the two A-bar spots and are linked to the main beam switch. Far left switch is blank and does nothing. The middle switches are connected directly to the spots and will come on regardless of whether other lights are on or not

I did have a look for any logos but couldn't find anything to find out who make them, sorry.

HTH
Graham.

Like the switches, bit limited for space on the dash though. EEEEK to the plug though, no way i'm putting a hole through the roof. Should be able to chase up along the windscreen seal or through a door seal though.

Cheers.

On the RR I would be inclined to run it through the door seal as you say. I'm not entirely sure how well the 2nd Gen RR doors are sealed (I can put my finger through the 90's door seal at the top hehe) but I'd have thought it would work

Let me know how it goes beer
