LPG conversion -Series landies
Discussion
Has anyone converted or had their s2/ s3 converted to LPG????
I've been considering it but really don't want a tank behind the rear bulkhead in the load area????
Is there an alternative location that can be used?? under the seats perhaps???
over to you guys?????
And another q....is fitting the LPG gear a DIY exercise??? assuming reasonable spanner skills!

If you don't do much off road work then there should be plenty of space for tanks under the body. There are plenty of kits for DIY but I believe you will need to get an inspection certificate for your insurance company (who you must inform).
Don't forget LPG is a bit like double glazing, it will take a very long time to recover its cost unless you do quite high mileage.

I've got my V8 Disco booked in for an LPG conversion next week.
I'm having the original petrol tank removed and replaced with a smaller tank, (appx 37 litres), plus an LPG tank, (appx 70 litres).
Everything is under the car, so no loss of interior space.
I presume a similar conversion may be available for other LR models?
