90 300 TDI How do I remove my starter motor ?

Spent an hour trying to remove the starter motor.
Skinned knuckles, grease on me forehead, and in me eye.
The Factory service manual has 3 steps.
Undo battery
Undo wires
Undo bolts,
Who can flesh out these gems.

Not an easy task I find that breaking your wrists and fingers to get extra joints always helps

If you have undone all 3 nuts, it should just pull out. Although the aluminium neck can get stuck into the hole, to it might want bashing back and forth to free it.

Good as long as it is knackered. Nothing worse than giving the grease god a couple of pints of the red stuff for no reason
