The traction control and hill decent amber warning lights have come on all the time, the manual suggests that I take the car back to the main dealer! - What is the cause of the issue is this going to be bad or is it an easy fix issue!?

Fixed it.

Common issue apparently, the brake pedal switch goes up the creek (£4 from a local Land Rover parts supplier), twist the old switch out of its mounting at the top of the brake pedal, pull out the wiring connector, put in the new switch and reconnect the wiring.

My brake lights started working again (I only found out this morning that they weren't working!) and the traction control and hill climb descent warning lights went out.

Sometimes though you have to have the ECU reset as the brake switch reports an error to the ECU which causes the other things to show up as errors. In my case the lights went out as soon as the new switch went in.

Another thing that causes the issue with the traction control and hill descent warning lights is the little switch connected just under the gear stick gaitor, the wires get pulled out sometimes - apparently.

All working again so well happy - and for £4 too which is a refreshing change! ;-)
