Turbocharging a 2.25 diesel

I agree this sounds daft (in a good way) - but stranger things have been done. I remenber the 2CV which sported a Garret blower 15 years ago!

Why not.

Pack the head gasket/skim the pistons to drop the measured compression ratio, find a siutable turbo donor (Tdi unit including manifolds?)and go for it.

(by the way) if you do, and it works tell the rest of us!
