Advise on buying a Diesel 2002 Range Rover please.

Hi all, i'd appreciate your help. I've been instructed to provide my wife with a Range Rover 3.0 Td6 Vogue. With between 25 and 30k to spend this is going to be a '02 or '03 i guess. As i'm completely new to Range Rover are there any mechanical reliability issues i should be aware of, and any recalls/upgrades that i should look out for? Her main priority are the electrical goodies inside, are these proving to be fairly robust after 4 years of use? I can imagine that any problems in that area are pretty costly to sort out. All advise would be very gratefully received.
