Hello
Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the service schedule for an 04 Freelander Td4 Sport? I'm not too fond of our main dealer to say the least, and we're due the 24 months 24k service in December.

There's an independant Aston Martin workshop up the road that did the discs & pads a few weeks back for a fair price, so I'm thinking of letting them do the service, but wanted to furnish them with the dealer service schedule if poss so they know what needs done.....not exactly an Aston is it!

Cheers
Andy

It's maddening, isn't it? My missus runs a car similar to yours and the mileage is getting to the point where a 24k service is needed. Our local dealer does fixed price menu servicing for the entire range, which helps give you an idea of what to expect when booking the car in. However, they still want £500 for a 24k mile service on a TD4 Freelander!
I could take my Esprit back to the factory and have an 'A' service carried out by Lotus technicians for £362 inclusive.

Changing the oil on a Freelander is obviously more complicated than on a Lotus Esprit. rolleyes

i just paid £300 for a full 60k service (inc MOT and courtest car) at a LR independent for our TD4

the guy gave me a full print out from the LR Service Manual of what they did

very impressed overall

(he's on the Dorset/Hampshire border if that's nearby)

I presume any good independent would do the same though
