Advice on 110TD5 warranty rust repair
Discussion
Hi folks
We just bought a 2001 110 CSW from a main dealer. They agreed to fix a shed-load of things as part of the sale (including surface rust on the 'triangles', surprisingly) but I also found three 1 to 2" HOLES in the floor pan (the upright panel under the 2nd row of seats), which they agreed to do.
They said they were going to replace the panel, but they have just phoned to say its too big a job, and they've patched it with 'aluminium resin', and covered it with schutz. Is this good enough, you reckon? I can't decide. Anyone know what their obligations are under the anti-perforation warranty?
TIA!

If they haven't removed all the rusted metal out then it'll just carry on rusting under the slop they've put on it. I'd go back to them and say they either do it properly or someone else can buy it instead.
