Hi all.

Posted a thread a while ago (www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=305816&f=91&h=0) about this car.

We have just had some LR Accesories added I think it totally transforms her. Let me know what you think!

After...

Cheers!

id like to think it would! Its my dads, but I am insured to drive it. He said he would consider non damaging things i.e some mild green laning. I hope it does tho, too nice to spend its life on the road!

Its not even a year old yet, I dont know about you but I dont think I could justify wrecking something that new. In time im sure it will see some mud and water. Plus I think the snorkel looks pretty cool anyway.

Why would you be wrecking it?? Its what its designed to do. Just give it a good power wash all over afterwards and it'll be like new again.

Sorry I think I may have confused some people.

I am not against off roading it, but its not my car, its my dads!

When I meant damaging it, I was thinking more along the lines of panel damage, or underside damage. Im sure maybe I can convince him to take it on some green laning trips, like I say mud isnt the problem!

R.e the A-Bar each to their own I suppose I think it looks good

It's a nice looking truck now, well done. Don't worry about damage, go to some offroad events that have beginners tracks. It's the best way to learn and you'll meet loads of like minded people. Take you old man with you tell him it's your treat! He'll love it I promise.

The Sorento has got 1000's of scratches from green laning, as has the Shogun. Well, the Sorento is Ebony Black (a solid colour), and the Shogun is used for more extreme laning. Pay and play is probably your best bet, its sometimes more challenging, and in 8/10 cases less damaging. Oh, forgot to add I LOVE you Defender!!!

I had forgoten about this thread!

I am down at uni at the moment, but the car has just come back from the dealer its had its carpets replaced and some leaks fixed.

Does anybody know of any pay and play sites around the Lancaster / Kendal / South Lakes area? I might try and persuade him to take it out and see some mud!
