In response to the near SE London conversion companies.

Experience does have a major effect on the quality, perfomance and reliablity of any vehicle / engine modification.
Have a look at the conversion photos of the Range Rover P38 on the "gas car conversion" site. If thats the quality your interested in, give the number a call, ask for several personal references and get some feed back from their P38 conversion customers.

If you don't hear unreserved positive feedback, I'll eat my undies and get out of the business.
If they are only small niggles I'll personally rectify any, before eating my draws.

I assume is your site. I have a feeling i've got one of your conversions on my 1998 4.6, too lazy to go and check though, the name rings a bell.

The V8 needs a multipoint system, as very few singlepoint systems can flow enough gas to feed the engine efficently. Plus the plastic manifold and tendancy to backfire rather rule out singlepoint systems. The spare wheel well is big enough to get a 95 litre tank in which should get you just over 200 miles.

Hi, just had a Prins system installed on my 4.0 Disco with multipoint, 80 litre tank in place of petrol tank and 8 gall aux petrol tank under rear. Before I decided who to use, I did some research and Prins were reckoned to be the most reliable (but the most expensive). I'm very happy with mine, and will recoup the cost in about 15000 miles. Mine was converted in Hull but there are many more dealers. See www.prinslpgnetwork.com/locations.html
