Discussion
that what i think. to good to be true. but i find out tomore. the letter says during the next 21 days we are possibly in a fantastic postion to replace your exsting car with a newer car.
based upon the following promises
we do not want any money off you
we do not want you to increase your finance payments
and we do not want you to extend your finace term
you are one of only a very small number of our existing customers chosen and goes on. well if its to get me in and get me to sell me another one. some one going to get a ear full. they all ready in my bad book with there poor service. but we will see.

well i went in to guy salmon at 2pm in Coventry. and the rep looked at my car. Drove it down the road. When we got back we sat down. He said let me work out some figures. He went off for about a hour came back said. Yep you can have a 06 plate freelander. for £340 a month for 43 months and a final payment off £6000. I give you 6k for your old one. so they do keep there promises. As its says in the letter we don’t want any money of you. and don’t want to increase your finance. a name you cant trust. land rover (guy salmon in Coventry). and the silly thing is. im going to replace my freelander next year with there new model or a range sport. but not with that dealer. way do stupid marketing tricks. if they cant do what they promises.
Sorry have I understood this correctly?
The letter was from the dealer NOT Land Rover and the dealer's marketing ploy was that as you're already paying finance you can swap your freelander for a newer one & the payments will stay the same so it's not 'costing' you any extra apart from a longer term?
OR
I got it wrong and they were just out to get you on a new finance contract?
Either way seems to be a strange way of marketing.
