My Dad has just bought this, but hes been persuaded to insure me. Will get some better photos once she arrives! Fingers crossed I'll be driving her back from Yorkshire too.

I don't know what insurance is like on TD5s but it's very cheap (for me) for my 300TDi. It'd be a shame not to have you on it thumbup

I'm still waiting to get mine properly muddy. Need some new tyres first though, tracking and balance is out and they're wearing odd.

Looking forward to seeing more pics

Well its been insured with NFU and its £250 for my dad alone, then im a further £350ish for the year i think. (19yr old, been driving for 18 months etc) Suppose its not too bad for a Landy!

Sounds about right to me, for a named driver. It's about £900 fully comp for me on my 300TDi. Which goes down to...sub £600 when my NCB deal comes through.

Cool. I wanted to sell my C2 this summer and use some savings from work to buy a 90 but was talked out of it, because I cant have my car at uni so probably would have been a waste. Still, its 1st on the shopping list after Graduation! (2years to go!)

I must be getting old mines less than £200 a year.

I weep at the insurance quote hehe

Being 20, I'm finding that insurance is coming down a little. But you really need a NCB to help you out. I did a deal with an insurance company for them to give me 3 years NCB when my term ran out. Unfortunately, I'd already insured the 90 before that happened. I'm just waiting for the 90's policy to end, then I can see what it's like with 4 years NCB. Going from £900 to sub £600 in a year will be very nice and something I welcome

That's logical. Having something cheap to run in the meantime is the best option

i only pay about £250 on a disco with several mods & toys all declared, its about time i found an advantage of getting old (30 next year).
