Hi

I'm after a bit of insider knowledge please - I'm trying to sell the T Lady's Freelander but with absolutely no success. It's a good model, in a good colour, with low mileage and at a very reasonable price and it's advertised here and on the Autotrader website but we have had no interest at all. Is it the wrong time of year or are we just not advertising in the right place? Or maybe there just isn't a big market for these? It's a bit frustrating and we have no idea so any advice would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I think it's an almost universal view - even amongst many owners - that there's no such thing a 'good' Freelander. These vehicles are (okay - 'can be') notorious trouble to own. I guess a significant part of the market has cottoned on to this.

I know some of the early ones had a bad reputation for reliability but the newer ones are better (apparently) and this one has been owned from new and never had any problems.

We'll be giving it away soon......

Mine has been excellent as well and is on a T Reg. I think they have an undeserved bad reputation.
