Gues it depends on mileage, I bought a 4.4 as the wife does small miles, didn't think the diesel was worth the additional money

I purchased a P38 on a 2000 plate recently. It's a 4.0 V8, about 20 MPG. LPG conversions are possibly a bit hit and miss. If they're not fitted properly they can be a source of many problems and end up costing you. A well looked after std V8 is your best bet IMHO.

All the best though, you can't go far wrong, cracking cars.

Has anyone lpg converted the bmw 4.4 V8 yet? Im seriously thinking about this now new shape RRs are around the £20k mark and I do around 120 miles a day.

TD6 is just too slow even when tweaked.
