Leads & Plugs Recommendations
Discussion
Having some problems when running on LPG at the moment - engine stutters quite badly under acceleration - and have been told that lpg can wear the leads and plugs out quite quickly.
Can anyone recommend some reasonably priced replacements that would stand up to running on LPG as this will be the second set of plugs in less than a year?

LPG needs a strong spark so the leads need to be in tip top condition.
Try someone like Famous Four, thats where I go my last set.
Need to make sure you have a genuine coil, dizzy cap and rotor arm as well.
Check plugs for gap and colour, not normally too bad on LPG. Got my last set from RPI for under 2 quid a plug delivered.
Other thing to check is the pipe from the AFM to the plenum chamber isn't holed/knackered. Not cheap to replace but can use second hand.
Is timing been properly checked? are the various vacumm pipes in good condition.
Failing all that, time to take it to someone who knows LPG installations

Magnecor leads from Rpi. They also do an uprated ignition amplifier. I put both on my V8 90 and it made a big difference. The leads are not cheap but worth it IMHO.
