Newcomer to Land-Rovers...advice needed
Discussion
Hi
Newcomer to the Forum and considering a rag-top Landrover. Ideally with 2 seats in the back for the young-uns for some weekend fun. Any engine type considered although I've a soft-spot for the V8... any ideas where I can start to find such a vehicle? And what are the key points to inspect before purchase? Any advice most welcomed - thanks

Go for a 90 if you can afford it? (what is your budget) V8 will get 15mpg on a really girly poofter right foot otherwise it's nearly down to single figures just to hear the roar!
90's/110's are coiled, handle better(can be made to handle really well!) are slightly warmer in the winter but it will leak as they all do that sir!
If you have young un's and they still require a bit of comfort look around at disco's they don't leak (as much) and are fairly warm and friendly.
Landy 90/110 will win hands down off roading though but if it's just for a bit of family fun.......
