My wife's '01 Freelander TD4 is due for a service and, not being a LR expert I wanted some advice on what to get done.
The car was serviced by a main agent up to 45k when I bought it. Since then, its covered a further 10k in 2 years and had just an annual oil change at a local independent (T Johnson in Ringwood, Hampshire if anyone knows it).
So, the question is what do I ask the independent LR specialist to do when I take it along for the service? The car will be MOT'd at the same time so that should identify any obvious faults but what else should I get checked/replaced?
Given the car is used to transport my family around, I want it to be in absolute tip top condition mechanically. (I'd rather replace in advance than wait for something to break)
Views/experiences would be welcomed....
