Currently have X5 and thinking of changing - I want to be sure in my mind how long the current model Range Rover has to go in terms of production run ....many thanks .... your assistance will aid my decision Barry Clakson

Its sure not due for immediate replacement, they've just facelifted it and the new diesel engine is only just being launched.

That said i can see them wanting to base a new RR on the new disco/sport platform some time. No doubt its being worked on as we speak

I'd bet on 2009/10

Most cars need a ten year run to pay for development costs. Land Rover have a history of running for longer.
