Anyone seen simmonites upgrade of the P38.Not to sure about the front end, seems to sit a bit proud of the bonnet,do like the supercharged sport side vents and sport alloys though.Just think that the front end would put people off when it came time to sell with it not being original.

Not heard of this what's their web address?

Yeah seen that ,that was on this forum a few months back.complete pants. The simmonites version is a bit more subtle and more in keeping in with the original lines of the car.Have a look at the two P38,s for sale and make your own judgement.

Downgrade more like!

I've seen a few P38's in the metal with the light conversion and they look dodgy. Those lights are way too large for the P38

I'm going to swap over to the facelift headlights with the black surrounds when i find them for a decent price-

Please dont chav your P38's people!

for all the time and hassle with the kits not to mention the cost on top of your car, if its a L322 you want buy an L322 to start with, thier a very different car to the P38 and thier both good but get whichever one you wanted in the beginning and dont try and do any wierd interbreeding(my opinion anyway, apoligies for the strange choice of words)

L322 is on the cards for the end of the year, but dont want part with my P38,so thought i might update a bit with the supercharged side vents and possibly the charger 20inch wheels and tyres.

Bluethunder, we moved on from a P38 to a LR322 at the beginning of the year. Thought I could never let the ole girl go, but I have to say the wife and I have never looked back once. The Lr322 is superb and we love it for its ultimate comfort, pace and styling. The P38 is ancient (and can be troublesome the older they get) so save those pennies and buy a Lr322, they are down to about £25k now. Keep saving!

I saw one of these at the kit car show earlier in the year and was in near histerics it looked that funny. I took a leaflet off it so we could all a have a laugh at work too. The kits were on sale for about 8K and you had to source your own lights. I can dig up the leaflet and give you the contact details if you are really desperate to make your P38 look ridiculous!!

I've seen early V8 SE's for under 20k. In fact i saw a one owner '03 TD6 go for £20k at brightwells auction.

I prefer the P38 myself though, l322 is a bit OTT for me. Can see myself changing for the new disco when the prices ease in a few years

V8 Vogues will be £20k before the end of the year, personally i think the L322 is the best looking model of all of them including the sport, whatever you do though dont go for an Epsom green 1, this colour looked great on the P38 but doesnt suit the L322 at all in my opinion, java black or oslo blue are probably the best colours for them, good luck getting one thier brilliant cars i hope to own one too before too much longer.

the SE and even HSE will be a bit harder to sell on though.

Not only the gills are chrome, but the front grille, door handles, and front sent cover! Think I need the wing mirros too!
